Promoting Positive Activities (PPA)

This flagship QES product was initially engineered in conjunction with Wokingham, Wiltshire and Dudley Local Authorities to meet their duty to publicise information on positive activities and keep it up to date, as required in Section 6 of the Education and Inspections Act 2006.

The solution incorporates all aspects of activity planning, promotion and participation; with data collation at all levels, feeding back to a variety of existing reports. This includes KPI related information, with the option to add additional tailored reports if required.

The PPA from QES is not just about advertising activities on a web site. It is about creating that crucial three way communication between the Local Authority, young people and activity providers. Information can be obtained and shared across one or several web sites ensuring content is always relevant and delivered in an appropriate context.

Additional tools such as text messaging and email alerts ensure that young peoples' needs are met in an appropriate and dynamic manner.
